Dominic Scott

Coach, LAMO-Brentwood

Dominic Scott joined the Lamo Brentwood coaching staff during the summer of 2025 as a volunteer coach for the 12U program. In the fall of the same year, he took on multiple coaching positions - Dominic became head coach for the 10/12U team, the head coach for Splashball, our intro to water polo program, and was the coach for the JV Girls team at Heritage High School.  Dominic also has experience working with special needs students, teaching swimming and water safety.

Growing up, Dominic competed on local swim rec and year-round teams, and played water polo with Lamo Brentwood.  He graduated from Freedom High School in Oakley, and was on the swim and water polo teams all four years.  Dominic was captain of the swim team his senior year, and the treasurer for both the swim and water polo teams.

Coach Dominic is extremely passionate about learning, teaching, and competing. He loves coaching water polo because he get to watch his athletes learn and grow as players and individuals. He also enjoys watching his players having fun during practice and competition.
