Kaylee Olivarez
Head Coach
Coach Kaylee joined the Lamo-Brentwood coaching staff in winter of 2021, and has been coaching since 2012. Kaylee played varsity water polo throughout high school at Freedom, where she was a team captain, leading scorer and MVP. Kaylee also played some water polo while attending Chico State, but mainly played rugby.
Coach Kaylee is also the head coach of JV boys team at Liberty High School. The team had great success earning 1st place at the biggest JV tournament of the season multiple years, and top 3 in every tournament they entered. She received the Coaches Award at Liberty for water polo excellence.
In 2024, Kaylee was assistant coach for the 12U coed team that earned 3rd place at JO Quals, and 12th in the nation at Junior Olympics. She was also key in developing our 14U boys team that produced our first player from Lamo Brentwood to play in the Northern CA USA Water Polo ODP (Olympic Development Program) Championships.
One of Coach Kay’s favorite things about coaching is watching the kids succeed in and out of sports, even after they’re no longer on her team.
