Head Coach
From the age of 4, Johnny was on a swim team. Around the age of 7, a swim coach told Johnny about water polo and that it sounded like a sport he’d really like. Johnny gave it a try, immediately fell in love with water polo and didn’t look back. He participated in many Junior Olympics and Kap7 tournaments.
Johnny’s love of the sport encouraged his older sister to give it a try when she entered high school and she played for a few years. Johnny followed along, of course, and played at Heritage High School, helping his team earn a BVAL Championship.
Johnny returned to his alma mater as coach for the JV girls and boys teams. He’s now the Head Coach for the Varsity Boys. He joined the Lamo-Brentwood coaching staff in winter 2024-25.
