Head Coach
From the age of 4, Johnny was on a swim team. He swam with our partner team, Brentwood SeaWolves, and with Brentwood Dolphins. Around the age of 7, a swim coach told Johnny that Brentwood SeaWolves added water polo to its offerings, and that it sounded like a sport he’d really like. Johnny gave it a try, immediately fell in love with water polo, and hasn’t stopped since. He played with Oakwood, Brentwood SeaWolves and mostly recently with Lamo-Brentwood, participating in many Junior Olympics and Kap7 tournaments.
Johnny’s love of the sport encouraged his older sister to give it a try when she entered high school and she played for a few years. Johnny followed along, of course, and played at Heritage High School, helping his team earn a BVAL Championship.
Johnny returned to his alma mater and just finished his first season as coach for the JV girls and boys teams at Heritage High School and is now the Heritage Boys Head Coach. He joined the Lamo-Brentwood coaching staff in winter 2024-25.
